Birthdays are very important to children.

Parents are invited to join in our Montessori Celebration for their child’s birthday at school.

The parent will be asked to supply a special snack on the day that their child's birthday is celebrated at school. A minimum of sugar is important. Invitations to birthday parties should be mailed to the child at home (see roster) unless the whole class is invited (or just girls to a girl’s party or just boys to a boy’s party). We want to be considerate of the feelings of all of the children at our school and want to avoid having them feel “left out” in the event that they are not invited to another child’s party.
